Michael Moore
Chairman
|
Dr. Moore was most recently Chief Executive Officer and Director of Piramed Ltd, a UK-based biotechnology company
focused on the discovery and development of small molecule drugs targeting specific isoforms of the PI3 kinase super-family
for cancer and immune-inflammatory disease. Piramed concluded a major collaboration with Genentech in November 2005 and the
company was acquired by F Hoffmann-La Roche in an all-share transaction in May 2008. He is also Associate Professor at the
Brunel Institute of Cancer Genetics and Pharmacogenomics, a post he has held since 1997. Prior to joining Piramed, Dr Moore
held several progressive positions at Xenova Group plc (1988-2003), including Chief Scientific Officer and Research Director.
He held a tenured Cancer Research Campaign Special Appointment at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research, Christie Hospital,
Manchester from 1980-1988, was Honorary Reader in Immunology and Oncology at the University of Manchester Medical School from 1986-1988,
and Editor-in-Chief of the British Journal of Cancer from 1983-1988. Dr. Moore received his PhD (Faculty of Pure Science) and
DSc (Faculty of Medicine) from Nottingham University and has more than 150 scientific publications. He is a Fellow of the Royal
College of Pathologists.

Christian Rohlff, Ph.D.

Dr. Rohlff received his Ph.D. from the Department of Pharmacology at Georgetown
University in 1994. After two appointments at the National Cancer Institute he
joined Oxford GlycoSciences and was appointed Director of Proteome Research
Collaborations in 2001. As manager of the Proteomics Division's commercial
collaborations he gained expertise in the implementation of clinical proteomics
programmes to identify novel therapeutic protein targets and protein biomarkers
with many pharmaceutical companies and academic partners, including Pfizer, GSK,
Bayer, Wyeth, Takeda, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Oxford University and the
FDA. These studies have investigated many disease areas including Alzheimer's
disease, arteriosclerosis, dermal ulcers, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary
disease, various metabolic, inflammatory and neuropsychiatric disorders,
toxicology, and oncology. Dr Rohlff co-authored over 20 protein patents
originating from these studies. Dr. Rohlff is the founder of Oxford BioTherapeutics.

Glenn Begley, Ph.D.

Prior to joining OBT, Dr Begley was Vice President and Global Head of Hematology and Oncology Research at Amgen,
where for 10 years he played a key role in leading the strategy and co-ordination of oncology research,
advancing 24 molecules into clinical development, including several human monoclonal antibodies and antibody drug conjugates.
Before joining Amgen in 2002, Dr Begley also gained over 20 years of clinical experience in medical oncology and haematology.
He has held several academic positions including Executive Director at the Western Australian Institute of Medical Research,
and Senior Principal Research Fellow and Professor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne at Walter and
Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. He is also Board Certified in Australia as a Medical Oncologist
and Haematologist (F.R.A.C.P.), and Laboratory Haematologist (F.R.C.P.A., Australia; F.R.C.Path, United Kingdom) and
holds a PhD in cellular and molecular biology.

Eliot R. Forster, Ph.D.

Eliot Forster is the CEO of Creabilis SA, which develops innovative treatments in dermatology and for
topical administration. He was born in the North East of England and has lived and worked in both Europe
and the USA. He has a PhD in Neurophysiology and a MBA. Eliot has more than 18 years in the pharmaceutical
industry, having worked at Glaxo, Pfizer and Solace Pharmaceuticals, before joining Creabilis. Eliot has extensive
drug development experience and has brought a number of molecules to market.
He is also a non-executive director to Atlantic Healthcare and an advisor to the UKTI Life Sciences Strategy Board.

Christopher Hibberd

Christopher Hibberd has over 15 years of experience in business strategy and corporate
development. He is currently working as CEO of Astute Medical, Inc. and prior
to that worked for 10 years at Biosite Inc., as SVP Corporate Development, where he was
responsible for the identification and pursuit of strategic business opportunities including
mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and alliances as well as for developing long-range
strategic plans. Prior to joining Biosite Inc., he was manager at the Boston Consulting
Group and was responsible for leading international consultants and client case teams in
developing and implementing value-creating strategies for businesses in a variety of industry
sectors. Prior to that he held consulting positions at various companies and also was a
development engineer for Albright & Wilson Americas from 1987 to 1990.
He received a chemical engineering degree from the University of Toronto, Canada and
earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Western Ontario,
Canada

Harry Lamble

Harry completed his Masters degree, Ph.D. and post-doctoral studies at the University of Bath, UK.
Following experience at various companies, he was awarded the prestigious Sainsbury Management Fellowship
in the Life Sciences to study for an MBA at the Cranfield School of Management.
He joined Oxford BioTherapeutics after successfully completing his MBA and, as Director, Business Development,
he is closely involved with managing the company’s external collaborations and alliances.
